However, you can make a ton of money using caravans once you have good capital. ![]() Given that even modestly effective armor can run thousands a piece, a few hundred running errands just doesn't do it. Quests are also extremely stingy in rewards. Prisoners are much harder to capture (as far as I can tell, the only bashing weapon other than your horse is the very weak bludgeon) and generally sell poorly- this was a major source of income for me in Warband and the original. Money seems much harder to make, with the exception of caravans. The musketeers' side weapons seem to make them pretty effective melee-wise, so unless you have a real mob of well-armored melee guys they're not gonna really be a big winner over gunpowder troops. A few more random thoughts, now that I've played a bit:įirearms basically seem to dominate the game.
